Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,

wir, die streikenden Flüchtlinge in Berlin, laden Sie recht herzlich zum Neujahrs-Presse-Empfang am 04.Januar um 11.00 Uhr in das Protestcamp auf dem Oranienplatz ein.

Wir werden uns dort mit einer Neujahrsbotschaft an alle Geflüchteten und Asylsuchenden sowie ihre UnterstützerInnen deutschland-, europa- und weltweit wenden.

Gleichzeitig möchten wir diese Einladung auch als eine Anerkennung für eine größtenteils faire Berichterstattung der Presse im Jahr 2012 verstanden wissen.

Wir möchten mit Ihnen zurückblicken auf ein ereignisreiches Jahr und die Höhepunkte hervorheben. Weiterhin werden wir einen Ausblick auf das kommende Jahr geben.

Im Anschluss besteht die Möglichkeit zu Interviews und einem Rundgang durchs Camp.

We will send out a new years message to all refugees, asylum seekers and supporters in Germany, Europe and worldwide.

Together we look back on the year 2012 full of events and our political achievements. We will share our plans and visions for 2013.

After the press-conference there will be the possibility for interviews with refugees and to visit the camp.

We, the Refugees and Supporters of the Refugee-protest camp at the Oranienplatz Berlin Germany want to strongly point out our solidarity with our fellow Refugees and their Supporters in Vienna, who were victims of the brutal police operation in the early morning of 28.12.2012.
The eviction of your Protest Camp was totaly unjust, the way it was driven directly by the governement and executed by their inner armed forces by bypassing the City Council. The sudden operation with no announcement or further negotiations together with the humiliating treatment of our fellow refugees as well as the arrest of some of them is by no means tolerable and will never be accepted.
We strongly condemn the harassment and violation of human rights executed by the state police in the camp last night. Politically these kind of practices are aimed at keeping Refugees in isolation as part of the european post-colonialistic policies to keep all of us asylumseekers and migrants away from Europe. This must stop!!!!!
We all here in Berlin feel strongly with YOU the Refugees in Vienna! We wish you to have the power and courage to take the last nights eviction as no reason to give up the fight but in contrast to take to the streets even stronger!!!!!
We send all our solidarity from the heart to YOU!!

All our support and solidarity to the protest of migrants and asylum
seekers in Vienna!

The protest camp set up by asylumseekers in Vienna has been brutally
evicted last night. It is part of a growing European movement of migrant
struggles, that has recently seen similar protests in Berlin, Amsterdam
and Calais, as well as Lesvos, Budapest and other places. They contest
authoriatrian border regimes and the migration policies of the EU and its
member states.

The protest camp

On the 24th of November 2012, hundreds of migrants seeking asylum in
Austria marched from the isolated and overcrowded government camp storing
them to set up a protest camp in Vienna along with Austrian supporters.
Their demands are: the right to work and stay in this prosperous European
country, as qualified legal support and translation. Building their own
and self-sustained protest camp, the protesters have created a vibrant
space of participatory democracy, solidarity and mutual aid; an inspiring
constituent process. They have shown what a truly open and cosmopolitan
Europe might look like.

The church occupation

On the 18th of December, after weeks of building a strong movement and
camp, and after weeks of being ignored by the government, they decided to
move into the church that borders on the protest camp. When the
asylumseekers sought refuge in the church the government could no longer
ignore them. However, while the government has acknowledged the legitimacy
of their demands, the talks have been fruitless as the government refused
to take the necessary action to improve the situation.

The hunger strike

The days of Christmas, which so festively celebrate that Joseph and Maria
found asylum in Bethlehem, have been a cold and inhospitable time for the
protesters. As politicians joined their families, leaving the refugees
with little more than vague promises of more talks, the refugees saw
little other option but to enter into hunger strike.

Meanwhile, migrants have come to Vienna from all over the country, to join
this protest and affirm the importance of another kind of politics of
migration and asylum. Their demands have been echoed and supported: we
have heard the director of Caritas as well of different union leaders
affirm the importance of giving migrants the right to work as they seek
refuge.

The eviction

Today, on the 28th of December, in the dark of the night, a large number
of police violently evicted the camp. The frame of the democracy and
community that has been built up in the cold winter month running up to
Christmas was razed to the ground within few hours.

The politicians in charge have not only broken the talks, but chosen to
penalize the act of protesting against the inhuman conditions that asylum
seekers have to tolerate in Austria. Police registered the identity of
everyone at the camp; people who were inside tents had to stand up in
front of the tents, were photographed and filmed from all sides in most
humiliating ways. The police now presses charges against 24, and two are
said to be arrested because of lack of residence permit.

But people are determined to continue the struggle, with the church
filling with ever more refugees and transmigrants every day – even if the
support of the church and Caritas is very reluctant, at times blocking
access to the church. Freedom of movement and protest are human rights –
we support the important cause of migrant struggles and the brave acts of
civil disobedience in Vienna and everywhere in Europe!

We demand that the Austrian Government

guarantees the right to protest, also for non-Austrian citizens;
stops any ongoing legal actions against people exercising their right to
protest;
stops all racist policing;
resumes the negotiations with the asylumseekers, which this violent
eviction was so clearly designed to interrupt.

We repeat and stand fully behind the asylumseekers’ demands:

1.) Grundversorgung (basic support) for all asylumseekers, as long as they
reside in Austria, irrespective of their legal status;
2) Free choice of their location of residence in Austria, and access to
public housing for all asylum seekers residing in Austria – no transfers
against the wishes of the people concerned;
3) Access to employment, educational institutions and social security for
all migrants residing in Austria;
4) Stop all deportations to Hungary – stop all deportations associated
with the Dublin Regulation 2;
5) Establishment of an independent authority for substantive review and
appeal of all negative replies to asylum applications;
6) Recognition of socio-economic motives in addition to the previously
recognized escape reasons

Die Tagesordnug der IMK in Rostock ist eine Farce!

Der Tagesordnung der Innenminister_innen-Konferenz vom 5. bis 7.12. in Rostock ist zu entnehmen, dass die Teilnehmenden es ablehnen, über die Forderungen der Geflüchteten zu sprechen. Zynischerweise befasst sich der einzige von 45 Tagungspunkten, der dieses Thema berührt, mit "Asylmissbrauch", der den Menschen aus Mazedonien und Serbien unterstellt wird. Wir alle wissen, dass damit Roma gemeint sind, die an vielen Orten bedroht und verfolgt werden.

Die Strategie deutscher Innenpolitik ist doppelzüngig:
Erst vor ein paar Wochen wurde das Denkmal für die durch deutsche Nazis ermordeten Sinti und Roma eingeweiht. Gleichzeitig finden Massenabschiebungen von Roma-Familien statt, ermöglicht durch diskriminierende Gesetze und unterstützt von einer rassistischen Medienhetze gegen unterdrückte Minderheiten.

Die politische Führung Deutschlands gibt sich betroffen bei den Veranstaltungen zur Erinnerung an die Opfer von Mölln und Lichtenhagen, zeigt Trauer um die Mordopfer des NSU. Gleichzeitig wird der Verfassungsschutz - das Organ, das so tief in den rassistischen Sumpf verstrickt ist, ihn gedeckt und unterstützt hat - trotz aller Forderungen nicht aufgelöst, sondern hinter verschlossenen Türen auf der IMK über seine "Neuausrichtung" getagt.

Am 22.11. ließ der Innenausschuss des Bundestags Vertreter_innen der protestierenden Geflüchteten vom Brandenburger Tor und vom Oranienplatz in einer Sitzung vorsprechen. Ihr Fehlen auf der Tagesordnung der IMK in Rostock zeigt allerdings, dass die innenpolitischen Entscheidungsträger_innen nicht dazu gewillt sind, die Forderungen der Geflüchteten – Residenzpflicht abschaffen, Lager abschaffen, Abschiebungen stoppen - politisch zu behandeln. Und dies trotz monatelangem Widerstand auf der Straße und in Protestcamps. Die bundesweite Öffentlichkeit und die Solidarisierung mit dem Protest der Geflüchteten wird seitens der Innenminister_innen durchweg ignoriert und missachtet.

Die Innenminister_innen sind offensichtlich nicht dazu bereit, sich den Forderungen nach einem freien und selbstbestimmten Leben für alle Menschen, ohne Ausbeutung, Diskriminierung und Unterdrückung anzuschließen. Stattdessen schreiben sie rassistische Politik fort. Sie sollen abtreten!

Rassismus stoppen! Verfassungsschutz abschaffen! IMK versenken!!! *

EOn Lobbyist im BMU will künftige Mox-Transporte geheimhalten

Der Plutonium-MOX-Transport ist in der Nacht vom 13. auf den 14. November in England mit dem Schiff gestartet. Wie unsere britischen Freunde berichten, hat der schrottreife Kahn “Atlantic Osprey” den Hafen von Workington bei Sellafield mit 2 LKW mit jeweils 4 MOX-Brennelementen für das AKW Grohnde gegen Mitternacht verlassen. Der Transport wird voraussichtlich Sonntagmittag in Nordenham und Sonntagabend am AKW Grohnde eintreffen.

Zeitgleich setzt sich ein EON-Lobbyist im Bundesumweltministerium (BMU) dafür ein, dass künftige MOX-Transporte geheim gehalten werden. Doch auch schon der aktuelle Transport wurde geheim gehalten, denn der niedersächsische Innenminister Schünemann hatte den Landrat der Wesermarsch wegen angeblichen Geheimnisverrat angezeigt.

Man muss ich ernsthaft fragen, ob es rechtens ist, wenn hochgefährliche Transporte geheimgehalten werden. Dies würde bedeuten, dass der eh schon mangelhafte Katastrophenschutz nun überhaupt nicht mehr wirken könnte. Es ist die bedingungslose Pflicht des Staates und der verantwortlichen Behörden und Verantwortlichen im Sinne der Gesundheit und dem Schutz der Bürger zu handeln. Dies ist ein Grundrecht, an dass sich die Behörden, auch die Mitarbeiter des BMU zu richten haben!

Behörden wollen ab 2013 MOX-Transporte verheimlichen
Atomkraftgegner kritisieren, dass weiter MOX-Transport ab 2013 zum AKW Brokdorf verheimlicht werden sollen.

So hat der ehemalige EON-Lobbyist und derzeitige Abteilungsleiter für Reaktorsicherheit, Gerald Hennenhöfer, das Bundesamt für Strahlenschutz angewiesen, Transportgenehmigungen im Internet erst zu veröffentlichen, wenn der Transport bereits stattgefunden hat.

Außerdem haben die Innenminister der Länder beschlossen, dass in den Veröffentlichung der Transportgenehmigungen nicht mehr zwischen normalen Uranbrennelementen und plutoniumhaltigen MOX-Brennelemente unterschieden werden soll.

Mit Hennenhöfer zeigt sich die “Fratze des Atomstaates”. Der Zukunftsforscher Robert Jungk hatte bereits in seinem Buch “Der Atomstaat” immer davor gewarnt.

Der Jurist Alexander Roßnagel bezeichnet dies in seinem Buch als “Radioaktiven Zerfall der Grundrechte”, der durch die erhöhte Gefahren der Plutoniumwirtschaft vorangetrieben werde.

Roßnagel zeigt in seinem Buch Rechtsänderung, die ein zukünftiges Sicherungssystem erzwingen müsste, um Bürger, Gesellschaft und Staat wirksam gegen den Missbrauch hochgefährlicher Stoffe zu schützen. Die Rechtsordnung bleibt zwar äußerlich bestehen, der sachliche Gehalt der Grundrechte wird jedoch ausgehöhlt und unsere Begriff von Freiheit verändert .
