Death sentence for Behnoud Shojaee and Safar Angooti URGENT ACTION
I wrote this letter for stopping the death sentence:
Dear Mr. Avaie,
I got acknowledge of the execution of Behnoud Shojaee within the next hours. According to this I demand to you to immediately halt the executions of Behnoud Shojaee and Safar Angooti;;
Their cases should be reviewed urgently with a view to overturning their death sentences;
Further I am reminding you that Iran is a state party to the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR) and the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC), both of which prohibit the use of the death penalty against people convicted of crimes committed when they were under 18.

Demonstration "Bildung geht uns alle an!"
Endlich komme ich mal wieder dazu etwas in meinem Blog zu schreiben. Anlass ist die am 17.06.2009 stattfindende Demonstration der Stempler, der HAWK Hildesheim, Holzminden, Göttingen, Elternvertreter und SchülerInnen für eine bessere Finanzierung des Bildungssystems, kostenfreies Erststudium für alle und der Beseitigung der Aussonderung im Bildungssystem. So steht es jedenfalls auf dem Flyer. Auf ihrer Homepage fordern die Stempler Chancengleichheit im Bildungssystem, wobei inclusiver Unterricht wohl an der Hochschule, aber noch nicht in den Köpfen angekommen ist. Aber die Initiative ist ja noch neu und durchaus zu Reformen bereit.
Die Elternvertreter, deren Einladung gestern per Mail rausging, laden alle Interessierten zur Demonstration ein. Bitte kommt recht zahlreich. Und verteilt alle, die ihr dies liest, den Beitrag weiter.
Zur besseren Ortskenntnis bitte bei Google maps unter Suche den Begriff Demoroute I angeben.
